Weddings

Are you planning a wedding?

Make it extra special with local, sustainably grown flowers. Here at Flowers by the Gate, it’s our aim to only use blooms that have been grown here on the farm, or by other local growers with our same ethos and passion for flowers. That means you can be certain that your flowers have been grown using peat free compost and natural control methods, to make sure they’re bloomin’ perfect!

We grow for just a select number of couples each season, recommending the perfect varieties and shades to fit your ideas — and there are several options to choose from.

1. Go it alone

We love to supply DIY wedding buckets full to bursting with everything you need to create beautiful bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements. It’s so simple — you choose your colour palette and tell us what you want to create, and we will cut and curate the best flowers and foliage ready for you to collect 24hrs before your special day.

2. Let’s do it together

Maybe you’d like to do some DIY arrangements and share the rest of the flowery fun with us. Just as before, you collect your buckets to get creative with the venue flowers. But to give you peace of mind that the most important bits are taken care of, we’ll do your bouquets and buttonholes. All you’ll need to do is add the ribbon (supplied) and follow the instructions included.
A match made in heaven, as they say.

3. Leave it to us

We know that DIY wedding flowers aren’t for everybody, and on your big day you might just prefer to focus on getting ready and have your flowers arranged and prepared for you. We offer relaxed, garden inspired wedding flower arrangements and bouquets that retain their natural movement of the great outdoors.

We offer two options:
Take away flowers, packaged and ready to collect.
Door step flowers, again, thoughtfully packaged and presented but dropped off at a local venue. For more details and prices, please see below.

Take Away and Doorstep Flowers

We appreciate how difficult it can be to manage the cost of a wedding, but we certainly don’t want you thinking that beautiful, bee-friendly and locally grown, british blooms are just a dream!

Our take-away and doorstep options mean that we prepare and present your flowers ready for you to collect, or to be dropped off at your doorstep (within a 15 mile radius) for an extra small fee.

You can choose any items from our individual price guide. All arrangements are made via email, and you’ll be provided with a link to our Pinterest page for an idea of what we’re growing.

There are no face-to-face consultaions, no mood boards, no florist at the venue and no take down fees, you just pay for the flowers. If that sound like something you’d like, then please get in touch. Booking ahead is essential, along with a small deposit to ensure your flowers are sown and grown, ready for your special day.
